The new TRN-50 stays true to the Casiotron concept of a fully automatic wristwatch, drawing on all the advancements of Casio watch development over the half-century since the original model came out.

Casio originally released the Casiotron in 1974. The watch made the most of the original digital technologies Casio had developed in its calculator business, bringing the concept of a fully automatic wristwatch to life! 

The Casiotron not only displayed the time but also the correct month, date, and day of the week — automatically adjusting for longer and shorter months with its automatic calendar function. Eliminating the hassle of correcting the calendar every month, the Casiotron was a true pioneer that went beyond what anyone expected of a digital wristwatch. 

Each timepiece will be delivered in special, eco-friendly packaging.

The History

With its debut in 1974, the Casiotron was the world’s first digital watch with an automatic calendar that automatically adjusted for longer and shorter months.


The all-new TRN-50 pays homage to the groundbreaking original while integrating today’s cutting-edge technology. With a meticulous reproduction of the original design, both in look and size, the external diameter is essentially the same, at 39.1mm, and the profile measures 0.3mm slimmer.

 

 

The Detail

You’ll find touches of the original watch throughout this limited edition, echoing that first design in the textured case and band, its dark blue dial and the Casiotron logo.

The case features a grind-mark finish on the top surface and a mirror finish on the sides, just like the original.

Many details, including the sophisticated textures of the case and band, the dark blue face, and the CASIOTRON logo, are beautifully reproduced. The original watch exterior, including its size, has been meticulously re-created in a design that meets our top quality standards. 

 

The Case Back

Special details befitting a limited-edition timepiece include the original case back design accompanied by an engraved serial number (0001/4000 – 4000/4000), just to highlight how rare these special watches are.

The case back features the same symbol as the original, (slightly modified) to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Casio watches.

Warranty

All of our products come with at least 2 years warranty.

 

Standard Delivery

Due to high demand, we are experiencing delays in deliveries. Please allow an additional 2 days for delivery [IRE only].

(UK Mainland 2-4 Working Days) £2.95 (Free for orders over £50). (EIRE Southern Ireland & Channel Islands 7-10 working days) £8.33.

All Grand Hybrid and selected Home Pianos will be delivered via our nominated carriers - TNT or Pianospeed (model dependent).

Returns
If for any reason you change your mind or are not satisfied with your purchase, please return your purchase to Casio within 28 days of purchase. Please note that with the exception of faulty products, we cannot accept the return of items, which have been opened or used. This does not affect your statutory rights.

The below process should be followed:

 1 - Complete the short form that accompanies your product. Please ensure that you complete all of the sections, as this will guarantee the timely processing of your return/exchange.

 2 - Place your item in the original packaging along with the form. Please ensure that the product is pristine with all original manuals and tags.

 3 - Send the box to us using a recorded/signed & trackable service to the address below. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for a package that has not been received by us.
