London, April 29, 2013 — Ticketing specialist TransMach Systems, based in Harrow London, has installed the CASIO IT-9000 terminal across the fleet of coaches at Dublin Coach and provided full training on the web based back-office system and ticket machines.
The system comprises of an easy to use web based back-office system and advanced CASIO IT-9000 portable hand-held terminals. The CASIO IT-9000 enables the operator to validate return and E-Tickets (web booked) tickets by scanning barcodes in real time to make sure only valid tickets are accepted on board. The operator can also accept card payments and smart cards on board using a PED. All ticket machines are connected to the web server using 3G/ Wifi for instant data feed. The web based reporting software enables the office staff to monitor and analyse journey performance, passenger load and revenue information in live environment. The administrator can perform fares changes instantly using the intuitive web based fares management tool.
