About the Role:

How you will fit in the company…

You will be managing the Retail Marketing channel for G-SHOCK and CASIO brands; understanding the watch market through both consumers and the trading environment. You will drive each channel’s profitability through commercially beneficial trade marketing plans.

You will deliver marketing campaigns and trade marketing programmes that shape trade activity and drive sales through the wholesale channel, ultimately hitting wholesale revenue and managing the trade marketing budgets.

You will adapt a stream line approach across all channels for the way in which our brand is experienced both online and in store.

This role will report to the Divisional Manager – Timepiece with a dotted line responsibility to the Head of Marketing. You will be required to line manage the Trade Marketing team of three.

Key Responsibilities:
What you’ll be expected to do…

  • Provide efficient and effective support for sales division, as well as new opportunities e.g. trade marketing activities, pop-up opportunities, POS projects
  • Identifying relevant target audiences and tactics to drive footfall and conversion in store
  • Delivering high impact visual merchandising to drive footfall and conversion
  • Managing a high performing, happy, confident and focused team, both in retail & head office
  • Testing and delivering promotional mechanics, GWPs and offers that drive conversion and footfall
  • Planning & implementing trade marketing for each channel in order to hit revenue targets
  • Co-managing/ tracking and understanding sales performance and ROI on trade marketing activity by managing the CO-OP budget with timepiece division manager
  • Owning the relationship with trade marketing managers and attending regular meetings to grow/optimise activity
  • Delivering next level displays and visual merchandising on time for channel deadlines

Person Specification:
What you will need…

  • Experience within retail and trade channel marketing, knowing the environment inside-out. Ideally come from a background in consumer goods, electronics or audio industries.
  • Able to easily build relationships across a variety of stakeholder demographics; nurturing customer relationships with our retail partners and finding new opportunities.
  • Pride yourself on your organisation skills with the ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Passion for the CASIO and G-SHOCK brands
  • Energetic and a team player as well as having a minimum of 3 years line management experience.
  • Commercially minded with strong negotiation skills
  • Campaign & project management skills with a creative approach to problem solving and ability to coach the team to a solution
  • Possess excellent and demonstrable attention to detail
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe and G-Suite products
