Using Casio’s advanced AiR sound technology, the AP-470 captures the wide dynamic range and tonal characteristics of both European and American styles of piano design. GRAND PIANO 1 - A rich and resonant European grand piano, capable of expressing a multitude of tonal contrasts that suit the Classical tradition.
GRAND PIANO 2 - The perfect piano for jazz and popular music performance. Bright, clear and with a contemporary tone colour.
Record your performances, explore the different tones available, learn new pieces or view music PDF files all via the free app available for iOS and Android. (A USB cable is required. iOS users will require the camera connection kit. Android users require an OTG adapter).
Using real acoustic measurements, the Hall Simulator recreates the ambience and character of four famous concert halls. Experience the thrill of listening to your performance in any of these unique and memorable acoustics as you play.
The AP-470 creates a more natural sound spread when using headphones, for realistic silent practice.
Real orchestral recordings of favourite pieces introduce the symphony orchestra whilst developing sight-reading and ensemble skills.
CASIO's AiR sound source gives incredible clarity and an authentic tone colour, so your performance will be expressive and natural. The AP-470 can also reproduce string and damper resonance. Usually only found on acoustic instruments, string resonance is calculated by the AP-470 as you play, making extended performance techniques that use string harmonics possible.
Tri-Sensor II Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard
The Tri-Sensor II Scaled Hammer Action Keyboard has new simulated Ebony and Ivory textured keys, for an incredibly realistic feel. The AP-470 also has the full complement of three foot pedals as found on a traditional grand piano: una corda, sostenuto and damper (with half-pedalling functionality).

Returns
If for any reason you change your mind or are not satisfied with your purchase, please return your purchase to Casio within 28 days of purchase. Please note that with the exception of faulty products, we cannot accept the return of items, which have been opened or used. This does not affect your statutory rights.
The below process should be followed:
1 - Complete the short form that accompanies your product. Please ensure that you complete all of the sections, as this will guarantee the timely processing of your return/exchange.
2 - Place your item in the original packaging along with the form. Please ensure that the product is pristine with all original manuals and tags.
3 - Send the box to us using a recorded/signed & trackable service to the address below. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for a package that has not been received by us.
