The role

New Year, New opportunities! And at Casio we are on the lookout for a passionate and extremely organised Direct Channel Commence Manager, to join our dynamic Marketing team at our North West London Head Office. Your role will be to increase sales through our direct consumer channels, including websites and the G-Shock London retail store. Ultimately hitting P&L targets for store and online. This means analysing and securing suitable product, stock, pricing and promotions to hit sales targets. You will also be working closely with the G-SHOCK store manager and team to hit conversion and brand/service levels.

Your role is key to the Marketing Division, and it is a great opportunity for a motivated and commercially driven individual, who will focus on positively impacting our sales and consumer experience through direct channels. This role will also involve operating efficiently and effectively across product lifecycle, budget, activity planning and evaluation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Commerce Responsibilities

  • Set targets for stores and adjust forecasts based on performance and plans
  • Review results and adapt plans and strategies accordingly, working with trade and digital marketing teams
  • Understand and securing suitable product and stock inventory based on sales forecast
  • Develop operational capabilities in store e.g. EPOS system or repairs manual for staff or stock storage facilities
  • Develop appealing promotions that can be utilised online and in store e.g. watch trade in
  • Ensuring an omni-channel approach, aligned with the consumer purchase journey


Marketing Planning Responsibilities

  • Product lifecycle communications e.g. launch dates, EOL, price changes
  • Product sample requests and tracking
  • Budgeting & invoice control and tracking
  • Marketing reviews (Q’tly)
  • Workshops and planning meetings for marketing
  • Product management system updates
  • Marketing calendar ownership
  • Team admin as required

Commerce Responsibilities

  • Both online and bricks & mortar retail/sales experience
  • Target setting and forecasting experience

  • Analytical skills mostly Excel based
