AP-500 joins the elite family of cabinet digital pianos with new AIF technology
London, 14 May 2007 — Casio Electronics Co. Limited and its parent company Casio Computer Co. Limited, continues to set the music bar higher with innovative digital pianos. The Celviano range, designed to blend the sound and feel of a real acoustic piano, introduces the AP-500, integrating the classic cabinet style piano with modern technology. This new addition to the Celviano family features an innovative technology, the new tri-element AIF (Acoustic and Intelligent Filtering system) which embodies a brand new technique in the stereo sampling of real piano sound to greater enhance the playing experience.
The Celviano range is Casio’s series of cabinet style digital pianos that encompasses the look and sound of a traditional piano with scaled hammer action, giving pianists the feel of an acoustic piano. The new AIF acoustic quality offers advanced technology with refined sounds and exteriors for a digital piano which reproduces the rich tonal sounds of a grand piano with a powerful 2 way Bass – Reflex Speaker System.
The AP-500, supplies the skilled piano enthusiast with a 21st Century modern take on the traditional piano. This 88 key digital piano’s Sound Source provides 128-note polyphony and allows notes to reverberate naturally without being cut off during a high-speed passage. The AP-500 carries a 60 watt (30w per side) sound system to effectively recreate the sound of a grand piano.
