Process on submission of a Casio Product for Repair or Service
Once an item has been received at our premises, our team will book the product onto our automated system, against the name and address specified in the enclosed correspondence.
An acknowledgement letter will then be sent to the address specified. This letter will contain details of the product and any additional items, along with instructions on how to follow the status of your repair or service online.
When an item is registered on our system, it will be allocated to an engineer, who will usually assess the product
within two or three working days.
If the item is covered within the terms of our warranty, we will go ahead and repair or replace the product within ten to
fifteen working days from the date of assessment.
If the repair is chargeable and amounts to more than £10.00 sterling inc. VAT, our engineers will generate a written
estimate, which will be sent to the listed address for the product. Estimates can be paid for online, by cheque or by
telephone. For repairs, which amount to less than £10.00 sterling, inc. VAT, the work will be completed and an invoice
for the amount owing will be sent back with the repaired item.
Once we have received payment for a chargeable repair, our engineers will either repair or replace the product within
ten to fifteen working days from the date payment has been received.
Any items of significant value will be sent back to you by secure post.
